David Levine, M.D.
David Levine, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist and specializes in treating medical and surgical diseases of the retina. He earned his undergraduate degree in Anthropology with honors at the University of Florida. Afterwards, he graduated again with honors from the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida.
While in medical school, he was accepted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society for graduating amongst the top of his medical school classmates. Soon after, he completed his medical internship, a three-year residency in ophthalmology and two-year fellowship in Vitreoretinal Diseases and Surgery, all at Emory University.
During his academic career, Dr. Levine published numerous ophthalmic articles as well as presented his research at national meetings. As a native Floridian and third-generation physician, Dr. Levine is excited to be serving his community.
He has a lifelong passion for helping others, which shows daily through his dedicated, compassionate care with patients.
In his spare time, Dr. Levine enjoys surfing, fly fishing, and spending time with his wife and two dogs.
